Every successful project, much like the plot of a gripping movie or a thrilling sports final, hinges on or builds up towards a clear goal. But what is the end game when it comes to your organization? Are your business objectives sharply defined and universally understood? If your answer is uncertain, then it’s time to dive into the world of OKRs. Join our newest Agile Kitchen for an interactive OKR Game Night, co-hosted with This is Performance, where you’ll learn how to translate high-level business goals into shared ambitions that drive real results across your teams.

OKR Game Night

Today’s specials: this is performance

First of all, we have a special for tonight’s Agile Kitchen: we like to acquaint you with our new partner, This is Performance, our co-hosts for tonight, and experts in OKR implementation. Based in Utrecht, This is Performance empowers organizations to bridge the gap between vision and execution. With their profound expertise in OKRs, developed in partnership with the OKR Institute, they ensure that business objectives are not just set, but embraced by everyone, and therefore achieved. Together, we’re serving up an evening focused on making your strategic goals tangible and actionable. Besides cooperating for our Agile Kitchen tonight, we’ll be closely partnering with This is Performance in the future as well, dipping into their expertise with OKRs to help our customers achieve their business goals.

So, what’s cooking tonight in our Agile Kitchen?

Renzo Zitman from This is Performance, will lead the evening, supported by his This is Performance colleague, Marco Van Damme, and iLean’s Agile Coaches Geneviève Loriaux and Frank Geelen. We’ll start by exploring the OKR methodology through real-world business cases, followed by an interactive workshop where you’ll get hands-on experience crafting your own OKRs.

The workshop will be executed in groups, which will be served a real-life business case by Renzo and Marco. Supported by our own iLean coaches and by using OKRs, the teams will try to solve the challenge. These outcomes, finally, will be discussed afterward to enhance comprehension and offer tangible takeaways for each participant.

Side dish – Have you heard about OKRs?

“OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) are more than just targets—they’re about creating shared objectives that foster focus and discipline, aligning your teams to achieve meaningful progress. It is a method for realizing your strategy and goals at any level within your organization, and about making the ambitions you set for your organization, team, or product measurable and linking them to progress and a particular cadence to achieve results.More than simply setting KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), OKRs create objectives that are embraced by your team(s), fostering focus and discipline to achieve them collectively and enabling people to focus equally on the process, ownership, and engagement as on the results.” – Geneviève Loriaux, iLean Agile Coach, on OKRsTonight we offer an insightful introduction on how to start with OKRs.

Why book a seat at the table?

Whether you’re an Agile practitioner or a leader responsible for setting and achieving organizational goals, this event is designed for you. By attending, you’ll receive foundational knowledge in OKRs and gain practical insights on implementing them within your team or organization. Plus, all attendees will earn an OKR Foundations certificate from the OKR Institute, marking your first step towards mastering this essential methodology.

Who do we serve?

The OKR Gamenight is a must-attend for everyone involved—or who should be involved—in goal setting. OKRs reach beyond the traditional Agile realm and also address (team) leaders, decision-makers, coaches, or anyone who has a vision for solidifying their operational activities.
