For agile changemakers wrestling with the push and pull between their roles, identity, and the difference they long to make

Last year’s Agile Kitchen sessions brought together hundreds of curious minds, thoughtful practitioners, and inspiring conversations. In 2026, we’re kicking off with a session that goes beyond tools and frameworks – straight into the heart of what it means to create real change.

You show up. You contribute. But does your presence truly move the needle? Many agile changemakers (freelancers, consultants, and internal leaders) know this feeling. You’re hired for your role, not your vision. You’re expected to align, support, and facilitate, while the real, transformative work remains just out of reach.

This Agile Kitchen invites you to take off that mask. Not to perform, but to pause and reflect. To connect with peers who know the tension between what’s expected and what truly matters.

Why join this Agile Kitchen about intervision?

This Agile Kitchen intervision session centers around one core question:

F*ck surface-level change and endless fire-fighting.
How do I make a real impact in my role?

Whether you’re a Scrum Master stuck in retro loops that go nowhere, a coach tired of performing change for the PowerPoint, or a product owner navigating misaligned leadership, this session speaks to the pain behind the posture.

We’ll explore the questions Agile changemakers face every day:

  • How do I challenge the system I’m hired to protect?
  • How do I stay connected to myself while playing a role?
  • How do I deal with decision-makers who invite me in, but block real movement?
  • How do I bring truth and clarity, without becoming the next in line to burn out?

We’ll begin by inviting you to reflect: Where does this tension show up in your environment? A poll (with space for your own input) will help surface what’s alive for you. If you have a case, share it in advance, or listen and learn alongside others.

Because real change is messy, and most roles offer no guidebook for finding clarity in the chaos.

What to expect from an intervision session?

This is a guided peer-learning format in which your questions and experiences take center stage.

In small groups (max 6 people), you’ll work with your own case, story, or challenge. Through mirroring, questioning, and offering new angles, your peers will help you see what you couldn’t see on your own.

You’ll experience the power of intervision firsthand and learn how to use this format yourself.

Together we’ll explore questions like:

  • How do you create impact without formal authority?
  • How do you position yourself in systems that keep you small?
  • When do you adapt, and when do you push back?
  • How do you stay true to yourself in roles that expect conformity?

This is not a space for mascots of change. It’s a room for changemakers ready to reflect with depth and act with intention.

Who’s hosting this session?

This Agile Kitchen session is guided by four facilitators from The Family: a Belgian peer-learning collective that brings together leaders, entrepreneurs, changemakers, and experts to connect and grow. They host over 500 participants every month in structured peer tracks, and now bring their intervision approach to our own Kitchen.

Yana Van DorstOnderOns
Yana connects leadership, teams, and change. She creates spaces where honest dialogue drives action. Through OnderOns, she facilitates intervision circles for leaders and changemakers inside and across organizations.

Mathias LamiroyRubicon
Entrepreneurship is in his DNA. Mathias has facilitated more than 1,000 peer circles and now guides the Rubicon community — a space for entrepreneurs to grow through challenge rather than comfort.

Rafaëla AskrabaWorld of People
Rafaëla leads the WOP community and facilitates intervision for new and experienced leaders. Known for her warm, honest mirror, she helps people grow with clarity and confidence.

Dorien BaeleTurbobreinen
Dorien supports neurodivergent professionals through coaching and intervision. She builds reflective spaces where different ways of thinking are seen as strengths, not barriers.
