Scrum Master

Who are you?
You are passionate about Agile methodologies, with experience working in teams and applying an Agile mindset. You’ve had some hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, and your understanding of Agile ways of working makes you eager to continue growing in this role.
Beyond your foundational knowledge in Agile and Scrum, you’re eager to deepen your expertise and expand your skill set in this field.
- You’re approachable, open-minded, and believe that continuous improvement is a shared effort.

- You’re an excellent communicator and thrive in team environments. Plus, you bring a sense of humor to the table, even if it includes the occasional dad joke.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is essential, and French is a valuable bonus.

What will you do?
As a Scrum Master, your role is to ensure the team works effectively and continuously improves. You implement disciplines and cadences to drive efficiency and success.
You will:
- Promote Agile mindset within the team: You work with an Agile and Lean mindset, helping the team apply these principles in their daily work.
- Support Product Owner and the team: You collaborate closely with the Product Owner and assist the team in achieving their goals, focusing on the complete delivery flow.
- Facilitate Scrum events: Organize and lead sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to monitor progress and continuously improve.
- Help solve team problems and obstacles: Identify and address problems and obstacles that the team encounters in their work, seeking necessary connections within the organization to help resolve the issues.
- Develop an improvement strategy for the team: Set up a medium to long-term improvement strategy for the team, based on improvement opportunities identified by the team and the needs of the organization.
- Create a safe and open work environment: Drive a culture of openness and trust, where team members feel free to share ideas and give feedback.
- Encourage self-organization: Coach the team towards self-direction and ownership, enabling them to become increasingly autonomous in their work.
