This course is aimed at everyone who is involved with Product Ownership in Scrum: Product Owners, business analysts, functional analysts, testers, product managers, marketing and sales people, business and IT management, etc. Since the Product Owner role overlaps with the typical responsibilities of a project manager, we highly encourage project managers and project leads to follow this course if they want to implement Scrum for their projects. And this course is also recommended for ScrumMasters that want to support and coach their Product Owner into doing a great job.
In terms of experience, this course does not require any previous knowledge or experience in Scrum. Both people new to Scrum as people with experience in Scrum will find great value in this training. If you have no Scrum experience, however, we do need you to prepare this course by doing some minimal reading on Scrum. You will get the necessary reading materials after registration.
This course will be facilitated in English. Since our trainer is also speaking Dutch and French, he will be happy to help you out in your native language as much as possible.

After attending this course, you will receive the Certified Scrum Product Owner certificate from the Scrum Alliance.

How do I receive my certificate?
After attending a Certified Scrum Master course, you will receive an invitation to take an online exam with the Scrum Alliance. This test has 50 multiple choice questions on the topics that are discussed during the course. Our trainer will explain all details about the certification process and guide you to the necessary materials to prepare for the test.
After attending a Certified Scrum Product Owner course, you will receive your certification. You do not have to take an online exam for this certificate.
If you are following the A-CSM course:
After successfully completing this training, you receive the A-CSM certificate and your CSM certificate will be renewed for 2 years. Your CSM certificate needs to be active (or <90 days expired). If your certificate is expired with more than 90 days, you will have to reactivitate using your SUE’s and paying a fee.

How do you facilitate this training? What can I expect?
Good question! For us, maximising your learning effects is the goal. That is why we combine individual preparation (at your own pace and time) with classroom work. In the 2-day classroom part, we deepen the theoretical basis you acquired during the preparation and translate it into practice. We combine exercises in smaller groups (with real-life cases) with reflection and chunks of additional theory. We don’t use powerpoint for in-person training, but a lot of interaction and conversation, supported by striking (tailor-made) visuals that also serve as documentation later on. Our trainers are all experienced S3 coaches who have their feet firmly on the ground with our clients and are happy to share their insights and experiences
