A lot of information is thrown at us in a cognitive, sequential way (text) but that is not the way most of us understand and remember things. A lot of us are visual, spatial learners which means we need images and visual connections next to only text. That's why powerful skills such as sketchnoting, visual facilitation and graphical recording are becoming so popular.
Do you want to learn how to create nice visuals and drawings such as these? Wouldn't they make you a better trainer, facilitator, coach or ScrumMaster?
This free evening workshop will get you started on becoming a visual facilitator, using drawings and visual elements to enhance understanding and learning. We will discuss and especially practice some of the essential elements and techniques to create more powerful documents, white board drawings or flip charts. Don't expect to be sitting down and watching text-based Powerpoint slides about visualization. No, we will get you some paper and markers and invite you to experiment and have fun with the visualization theory and examples we'll provide.
So, join us to draw away the evening!
Everybody is welcome! You don't need any Agile or drawing experience or knowledge for this workshop. The only thing you need to bring is your open mind to experiment and learn new things... :-)
